When you see (or hear) a message that makes your heart soar do you go with the flow or stop the flow to cast judgment?
My answer comes from two sides of the same coin.
One side vs. the other side
In the past, I’ve been quick to press pause to analyze. That’s something I’ve known to be true for me for the longest time. You know what? Continuing to do so no longer serves the greater good of who I’ve become.
Considering I lived in a “someday…” mentality since I used to be tied to someone else’s time clock & expectations and had very little time for my own aspirations. Little did I realize I’d stop the positive power of the new information to cast judgment over it and put it into the “someday…” category because of where I was then.
Presently, I have the authority over making my own decisions because I’m no longer tied to someone else’s time clock but to my own.
Occasionally, I’ve found some of my “someday” items clogged in areas I didn’t know were there and have lead to unforeseen physical issues; which is something I don’t want for you.
Therefore my perspective has shifted causing me to re-evaluate my mindset.
Why?
That mindset didn’t automatically shift when the situation shifted. I’ve learned to put those “someday” items through a discernment filter. That, my friend, was weird at first. When you go from judging (or an unhealthy discernment) to go-with-the-flow some things fall into place while some don’t.
To flow or not to flow
No matter where you find yourself, you have choices (options) on how to handle information – new or “someday”. The choice is yours.
I suggest starting with allowing yourself to feel good about what you saw (or heard).
When (notice the verbiage here: “when” is used instead of “if”) you see (or hear) something that rings true for you and it springs you forward to a place you aspire to be, embrace that feeling.
Also, let your mind chew on it for a moment – think mental chewing gum.). Let your mind go there.
This is something I, personally, choose to be intentional about. Since then, I’ve felt a slight shift in mindset and even in my physical body believe it or not.
When you can do this for yourself, you may start to feel a flow within.

This is a good indicator that you are moving in the direction you are intended to go.
As you feel the flow, then you can evaluate where it aligns with your current reality.
If “it” makes you smile, and you feel as though you are flowing with that new information that’s a good indicator you are going in an aspiring direction.
On the other hand, “it” makes you stop and think, this calls for a pause to evaluate by asking “Is this still relevant for me or not?”
Now that “it” may seem heavy at first and it may require a little more work; this is where you can choose again. “Is this for me or not?”
If it isn’t, you may have some focus work to do. If no, then you can ditch the information and continue with “business as usual.”
Something to think about
When you see (or hear) something that makes your heart soar and you stop the soaring to process; do yourself a favor and don’t wait too long.
Why do I say that?
The soaring created or woke a feeling within you and unprocessed feelings turn into pain. When that pain isn’t addressed, it has the potential to cause problems within your body.
